21st ANNUAL LUNDI GRAS CELEBRATION AT RIVERWALK MARKETPLACE
Spanish Plaza plays host to the Arrival of Rex on the day before Mardi Gras
Riverwalk Marketplace will host its 21st annual Lundi Gras celebration on Monday, February 19, 2007. In what has become one of New Orleans’s most anticipated Mardi Gras festivities, Lundi Gras will once again feature fireworks on the river, performances by Beatin Path, Rockin’ Dopsie, Jr. & The Zydeco Twisters, Wanda Rouzan and the traditional arrival of Rex, King of Carnival, aboard a Coast Guard Cutter.
Following is the schedule of entertainment for the half-day celebration on Riverwalk’s Spanish Plaza:

| 6:00pm – 6:30pm | Arrival of Rex, King of Carnival, followed by fireworks Over the River |
